Though it would appear I took a picture of these trees it is the birds I wanted to share. They're perched in the bare tree. At first I thought it might be a pair of owls but now I'm not so sure. I've looked through my bird book trying to identify them and can't find anything resembling these beautiful birds. Click on the picture to enlarge. Note: Due to the distance between my kitchen window and the field across the road the birds aren't in the greatest of focus. But, i think one can get the impression of what they look like.

I tried to make your photo bigger so I could see them better. Can you email me the photo? I see a lot of rusty color on them. I'm really curious!
I'm not very good at bird identification. My mom is a real enthusiast about birds, but I didn't get that gene.

hello Mary~ just made it back from spending the day with my husband. you can right click on the image and display it in another window to view. you can also enlarge it one size more to make it a bit bigger. if that doesn't work i'll try to email it to you. i'd sure like to know what you thought... hope you've had a great day~

Oh, I wonder what they are....even with enlarging the second time, it is impossible to tell.
