These are gorgeous! Thought you might be interested in this from the BBC (which I looked up to find out more about 'Fox Squirrels which we don't have)...
I think the bit right at the bottom may relate to 'your' squirrels?
P.S. The link in my previous comment mentions a (squirrel) pox virus which has caused a huge decline in the creatures it affects. This pox is not a human disease ~ you can read more about it here and how squirrels in the UK have been affected over the years. It gives us such a thrill when we have the chance to watch the Red Squirrels because they have so few UK habitats these days.
