Terrific action shot, Michelle. I grew up in rural Norfolk, UK - where (alas) there were lots of farmed turkeys. These ones look as if they have a real zest for life.

My grandpa, my mom's dad, used to turkey hunt. I can't see a turkey and not think of him.

The wild turkeys around here are very shy. It's pretty unusual to be able to get a picture of them. I really like your turkeys!

four winds journal i was actually in my SUV. my daughter was driving, of course. they were on the side of the road.
