I hate it when bad things happen to/in favorite t-shirts. They're favorites for a reason. Seems like nothing bad should ever get to happen in them.

So pleased to be able to comment on something you've written. You spend so much time commenting on other people's blogs and providing us all with inspirational words and pictures.

This haiku has a wonderful rhythm and I love the force of 'sucker punch'. It's very clever of you to have worked in all three words.

Michelle,
That's what I like about the haiku form: few words, major impact.
Being verbose myself, I find the haiku requires more work than meets the eye. You make it look effortless. But then that's the point right?

I remember my husband's t-shirt, I think it was more than just sucker punched. I really liked the way you told this one, Michelle.

take solace that the tee shirt didn't feel anything :)
There's a beautiful subtle wit to it--the haiku not the tee shirt

I'm not too familiar with haiku's but it was fun to read this one. Clear, concise and a good punch! Thanks for sharing!

There's nothing quite like a favorite shirt. Yet we know their time is limited :)
