Wood Bridge
I've been wanting to share this scene with you for some time now. It always seems to draw my eye when we pass by. So, the last time we went shopping I had my camera on the ready. I shot this while my husband was driving about 60 mph. Please forgive any blurring. I don't know if this is just a fancy drainage system or part of a park or something but I like it a lot. Hope everyone is having a great day.

hmmm. No snow on the ground? How warm or chilly was it?
I don't care he was going 60; it's still a good shot. It would be neat to know the story behind it. So unusual! Hope you are doing well.
I love bridges of all kinds. This is a lovely scene. Good to hear you're feeling better.
You definitely have an eye for intriguing scenes. Love the diagonal angles!
Pretty good for a drive by shooting. I love bridges, and this is a nice one. I can see why it caught your eye.
Good photo! I wonder what that bridge is for?
I do wonder what it is--if you ever find out let us know.
Looks like there used to be a stream flowing through there at some point. Have a great weekend.
Even the rolling contour of the landscape gives this an interesting atmosphere! Almost like some kind of sacred place at the top of a hill!
If you took that at 60 miles per hour, I'm impressed! Lovely shot. I like this bridge. Glad you are feeling well enough to blog again.
The bridge seems to be high above it all. :) You'll have to travel it sometime.
I'm surprised you were able to get that shot at all! That's a very interesting shot.
I would say that is a pretty amazing shot for having been taken from a rapidly moving vehicle. That is a cool brige and love the zig zaging waterway that it spans. It almost looks like it is part of a drainage system of some sort.
That's a pretty well framed shot for zooming by as quickly as you were. Nice!
Very cool! I love the bridge combined with the other structures. Which are called "Gabion Baskets." They are devised to control soil erosion. I've read about them but not seen them in a horizontal plane. (I have seen vertical ones.)
No snow...it looks great.. I love the textures in the photo.. hope you are doing Ok with your recovery Michelle... hugs...Michelle
That is a great shot! Not even a trace of blur!
Hope you are doing well!
Best wishes always....
Looks like a lot of water is expected at some point.
