Big Bone Lick

A landscape shot from Big Bone Lick state park Saturday. I lightened, cropped and sharpened this photo before playing around with its color. I liked the end result even though I may have brought out to much blue in the water. Hopefully I've linked my original picture with the end result so you can mouseover and see the differences. Enjoy~

Note: My original picture seems squished up when you mouseover but I think you can still get an idea of what it looked like sooc (straight out of the camera).

I bought a book called The Art of Pencil Drawing by Gene Franks the other day to see if I could teach myself to draw. I chose a rather big project to start but, I finished it tonight. At least the end result wasn't to horrendous and I'm encouraged to keep trying.

For the curious at heart I've copied the original below.
