Initially this eastern fox squirrel was enjoying something in the road... perhaps roadkill? When I approached to closely he/ she ran to this wood fence and ran across the boards. Luckily I was able to snap a few shots before a car coming interrupted our photo shoot. Happy Crittering~
Oh, eastern fox squirrel♬♬♬ Lovely and cute to see she /he is on the fence like that♡♡♡ They must have the quick move for camera, I wish I could spot even one here (^^;)

Don't you hate it when that happens? Just this afternoon I was trying to get a picture of some unknown bird, stopped in the middle of a country road. Of course a car had to come and ruin my fun. Nice capture.
People used to eat them a lot in days gone by....apparently they're very tasty, if not a big meal! We have as resident one here who is very, very shy, unlike the ones in London, who will eat out of your hand.
lovely squirrel, the American grey squirrel was introduced over here and has been a real problem for our native red squirrels, but still a cute little animal!
welcome to Naquillity Photography... may you thrive in this natural habitat of poetic and photographic moments from nature... take my hand and share the intricate threads along which i journey... hopefully you'll get lost somewhere between grey & emotion~

That squirrel seems a bit shy.
Agile little critter!
I admire their agility, and this neat shot :)
I'm glad the little fellow got out of the road. The Fox squirrels we have here are not so shy.
Squirrel's are so cute, I wish we had them here. Great photo.
Awwww cute!
Glad to see one that isn't roadkill itself! So many get hit around here. They are so bad at crossing roads. Looks cute on the fence!

Great capture! No squirrels in Hawaii.
They are running around like mad, aren't they? Ours are very hungry after a long winter.
