I bought a case of suet (that the birds in my backyard haven't touched) and one of my cats dragged a package out and opened it up and ate some. Disgusting! Also, I have mourning doves. I like them. In high school there was a huge pine tree outside my bedroom window with mourning doves living there. It was always so nice to hear them coo.
What a sweet photo. I love doves. Good luck with your surgery. I'm sending you thoughts of a speedy recovery and hope that the holidays bring you and your family joy.
