Petunias

One of the many things that caught my eye the other day while riding around with my daughter. I think the flowers are petunias. If I'm wrong please correct me. Aren't these simply beautiful?

They look like petunias to me. Charming scene.

Stunning! They look like the small species of Petunia to me: the name may [or may not...] come to me later.

Would love to know what the old piece of machinery was in a former life!

Yup - they look petunia-y to me. And I love how they're tumbling out of the barrow.

There are some small petunia shaped flowers. I grew them one year, but can't remember the name.

My sister would be so jealous of that whatever it is. She loves old things planted with flowers. I have to admit, I like that one, too.

Could they be nicotiana? That's one of my favourite annuals. Lovely photo.

I have no idea what they are, but it is a wonderful photo. I can't help you with your photoshop question below as I don't use it.

The word I was seeking came to me in the night: ,Surfinia [of the trailing kind].

Like Kat, I had wondered about Nicotiana [tobacco plant], but my vote goes to Surfinia! Not sure if it's a kind of Petunia or just similar.

Nice composition! I love when people do that with flowers, we have one similar in our neighborhood. :)
