Emu

Tonight I played in PSE with an emu picture that I'll be presenting at my photography club in August. I'm rather impressed with how it turned out considering the original (below). I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to use the gaussian blur on the background's image instead of the emu itself but... otherwise, I cropped the image and used the cloning tool.  If anyone uses Photoshop Elements 8 and knows how to use the gaussian blur on the background please let me know as I'd like to make the emu the prominent figure.

There used to be this lone emu in a field I passed every day on my way to work. Interesting animal. I would always look for it. Don't know much about them, but it seemed odd they'd only have one.

bone welcome to Naquillity. good to see another familiar face. kinda sad that your emu was a loner. but maybe the others were shy and more hidden in the field. have a great day.

That turned out great. I'm amazed what you got from the original shot after working on it.
