On the second day of Christmas,
Mother Nature sent to me,
Two red tailed hawks,
And a morning of snow to see.
On the third day of Christmas,

Three mistletoe,
Two red tailed hawks,
And a morning of snow to see.
On the fourth day of Christmas,
Mother Nature sent to me,
Four honking geese,
Three mistletoe,
Two red tailed hawks,
And a morning of snow to see.
On the fifth day of Christmas,
Mother Nature sent to me,
Five, snow- ball fights,
Four honking geese,
Three mistletoe,
Two red tailed hawks,
And a morning of snow to see.
On the sixth day of Christmas,
Mother Nature sent to me,
Six snow angels melt- ing,
Five, snow- ball fights,
Four honking geese,
Three mistletoe,
Two red tailed hawks,
And a morning of snow to see.
On the seventh day of Christmas,
Mother Nature sent to me,
Seven sleighers a sleigh- ing,
Six snow angels melt- ing,
Five, snow- ball fights,
Four honking geese,

On the eighth day of Christmas,
Mother Nature sent to me,
Eight reindeer mull- ing,
Seven sleighers a sleigh- ing,

Did you really get snow this year? We got a few flurries today. They said on TV it was the first Christmas day in 19 years that it had snowed any at all here.

We did have the first white Christmas i can remember. The first snow i can *ever* remember in this country (UK) that stayed for a week crisp and beautiful without going slushy. What a treat.

bone bone naw we didn't get snow on Christmas day but back home where i was raised there was lingering snow from a previous storm. the mountains looked so beautiful in their whiteness too. i just wrote this poem/ song in jest for the holiday season.
