Snippets

I offer snippets from Saturday with a picture of a goose who was sharing space with other geese in the city and a quote from e e cummings.

nothing which we are to perceive in this world
equals the power of intense fragility:  whose
texture compels me with the color of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

e e cummings

"intense fragility" - that is intense...

Beautiful pic and I find that words and image are perfectly matched.

This photo made me smile and the quote made me ponder a bit. A good combination, Michelle. I feel like that goose sometimes... here is my personal space! Ha.

I relish e.e. cummings' work and this pieceis one I do not recall instantly. It's exquisite.
That photo of the geese spreading his wings is elegant- embracing the world.

I like the photo and the quote. Canadian geese are one of the better designed birds, don't you think?

I am with Meri... wonderful statement. Great shot too! Almost looks like that goose has angel wings hiding on its back... I guess I never really looked at one in detail with wings spread!

Happy Weds!
