and I love the photo, too. I found out why I haven't been around a lot lately -- your new posts weren't showing up in my reader!! Today I suddenly had a week's worth!
I should pop in in person instead of relying on the reader, I suppose! I'm going to catch up with everything this weekend.
Not too many people write poetry about turkey vultures but you captured them perfectly. They are big and love to ride the warm thermals and then hang out.... Michelle
welcome to Naquillity Photography... may you thrive in this natural habitat of poetic and photographic moments from nature... take my hand and share the intricate threads along which i journey... hopefully you'll get lost somewhere between grey & emotion~

A lovely haiku! Autumns requisite indeed - bare trees! nice image!
Repsite I need too :)
Very poignant haiku for those that are now migrating. We saw a flock two days ago with literally hundreds of wings flying...
I just love this. Beautiful ;-)
Resting and watching
I love the image and the thought of six exhausted wings. You found a haiku in a tree!
Are those turkey vultures? They are huge!
A wonderful captured moment, Michelle!
:)
Beautiful vision of autumn, despite the desolation...
Somehow the word "respite" gives me hope for more clement seasons.
Have a great weekend! :-)
They surely must be exhausted. I like this one, Michelle.
A beauty of a haiku Michelle.
Your photos are awesome!
ps I can't subscribe to your RSS feed - Google Reader says it can't find you. Thought i'd let you know.

Wonderful photo and poem! Next year you'll have to include it in the Vulture-love-athon. (I think it's September 5th.)
I love this photo. Great capture!
