Headache

Now I lay me down to sleep
Without this headache to keep
If I should sigh before I wake
It's for aspirin I did not take.

I wrote this one day after having a headache for 5 days straight. We were coming back home when the classic children's prayer came to mind. I'm reminded of this poem today because I've had a bad headache and thought it would be fun to share it here as a tribute of sorts.

BTW my headache is starting to ease off now because I took some Tylenol. :)

Oh Michelle..nothing is as annoying as a persistent headache...Glad to hear that it is easing and I liked the tribute..I remember that as a prayer for children....another Michelle

Oh, that's a long time to have a headache! At least you were able to write a poem with a sense of humor. Hope you are 100% better very soon.

Have you tried the homeopathic headache medications? They sometimes help me a lot, and get rid of the headache before it can become major!

I get cluster headaches fairly regularly, so I know what a LONG bout of head pain is like!

Sometimes having a couple of cold Gatorade knocks the headache right out of me.
