Westering

life, destitute of time
turns, turns again- deep ticks-
culminating inside
warbling tocks.

black numbers are falling
from her dimpled face-
her hands rising, noon,
in perfect tree formation.

variable geometries stray
from a single fingertip
rotating in the westering wind
like translucent dandelion seeds.

Ah, you used these words beautifully, seamlessly. Nice work.

Beautiful words, and I love the image of time in the first stanza.

Nicely written poetry, I like the way you got the five words in, and I adore that final line, then again, I've got a thing about dandelions...

I really like this:

'turns, turns again- deep ticks-
culminating inside
warbling tocks.'

Separating the tick from the tock makes me reflect.

I love the last image you created, because my daughter thinks dandelions are beautiful flowers.
