Mini Ice Sculpture

I could feel bitter winds whittling away at the last bit of bodily warmth as I laid belly to frozen ice for this close up yesterday. The large corridor surrounding me in half light, half darkness. I search the eyes of this birdlike creature and wonder how she became a sequin nested between two brown walls and a ceiling that echoed overhead cars.

Looking at it in the blog post doesn't do it justice. Not until I clicked on it, thus enlarging it did I see its true beauty. Great macro shot.
