SOOC

Here's another sooc (straight out of camera) photo from our visit to the zoo earlier this year. This guy framed up nicely in the photo don't you think? I have more zoo photos if you'd like to see them but you'll have to scroll through the images a bit. Once you've scrolled far enough you'll see a lesser adjutant stork, white tiger, sumatran rhinoceros, red panda & a spangled cotinga. If you decide to look at the other photos let me know which is your favorite.

Locked Posts

This morning has turned out to be a good morning to fix some of the issues I spoke of last night. My dear friend Lissa came over for a visit today and helped me put my blog title back to center. After that I was able to replace the code for the locked posts. They are up and working again. So, the new blog that would have replaced the locked posts is no more... sorry for any  inconvenience this may have caused. Locked post passwords are still the same as before.

Now I'm off to see if I can fix my related posts and replace the Blogger B beside my blog address with my own icon. Wish we luck.

Update:  Everything is restored back to its original state now. No more issues to contend with. Thanks for your patience during this time.

Grey...

Since having to give up my last blog I've wanted a space where I could share things about me and my family, etc. My locked posts were such a place until I made some changes to Naquillity. Most of you who've visited may have noticed I've changed my blog theme and with that came some unexpected changes within. First, I can't seem to put my blog title back in the middle, second I had each post set up to show related posts now they're gone and lastly my locked posts were wiped out. You can't view them anymore. Though I can't fix the first two issues I have found a solution for the locked posts.

I'm in the process of creating a new blog. It will host invited readers (one time sign-in password) only. Once you've signed in you'll get to know me through my family, thoughts & pictures, lots of pictures. If this sounds good to you then sign up below and I'll send you a personal invitation. If you think I don't have your email and you'd like an invitation shoot me an email to: naquillity at hotmail dot com and I'll get an invitation to you as quickly as possible.

Tomorrow we'll return to regularly scheduled nature posts. Thanks for your patience during this brief intermission. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

You'll find a direct link to my new blog under the header called grey... Look forward to seeing you there.

Please note that invitations will be coming from a different e-mail than Naquillity because I couldn't set up the new blog without making a new account.

Seeking Cover

Who says underexposed photos can't be salvaged? Tonight I chose a dark photo of mine and did nothing more than play with the lighting & color of the photo. I rather like the effect at play. The end result looks like a painting, doesn't it? So, what do you do with the photos you think has no potential?

Relaxing

The photo above is from two pictures I took on Tuesday. The colt was relaxing in another field altogether. I really liked this barn in b&w and thought adding the colt with it's jolt of orange color would be a nice addition. I'm still learning photoshop so, if you enlarge the photo you'll see that it's not as smooth as it should be. But, in time I hope to get better with my skills. Next week (Tuesday & Thursday) will be my last classes for PSE, sigh. From there I'm on my own. Hope everyone's having a great day.

Petunias

One of the many things that caught my eye the other day while riding around with my daughter. I think the flowers are petunias. If I'm wrong please correct me. Aren't these simply beautiful?
