they shall feel of dark blue
they shall feel of dark blue among the foliage,
where coi swim.
rushes lean w-i-d-e over their bare, geishan feet,
the water pulling their shadows like dark trees.
where coi swim,
kimonos lie in long veils.
the water pulling their shadows like dark trees
with soft, pink-white shivers.
kimonos lie in long veils
across an articulate stream
with soft, pink-white shivers
cherry blossoms mount in water dance.
across an articulate stream
rushes lean w-i-d-e over their bare, geishan feet,
cherry blossoms mounted in water dance-
they shall feel of dark blue among the foliage.
